Sun’s out, hens out.
Getaway to escape the gray, gray, freezing, gray winter in the mountains and found the same color on the coast. Hanging out with family was a huge reprieve from the SAD, but we’ll hardly know what to do with ourselves when the sun comes out again. Our part of the mountain has had so few days of sun this winter that our solar lights are barely functioning, and we fully identify with that 😐 #sad #winter #gray #beach
The haul this year so far: not much, but it’s delish. #maplesyrup #winter
Chickens and snow. They’re not big fans. I’ve logged a bunch of steps this week to bring unfrozen water, warm oatmeal, and other treats to keep the flock occupied. They, in turn, laid a bunch of eggs. It’s like they’re willing spring to start. #chickens #chickencoop #easteregger #brahmachicken #winter #mypetsmakemebreakfast
Most days this winter have been gray. Beautiful in their own way. #winter #clouds #geodome #domehome #geodesicdome
He’s a big-big boy, he’s the biggest boy. Baby Fuller is coming up on 10 months. He’s a rootin’, tootin’, rattlesnake-dodging, creek-splashing, golf-cart-riding, all-weather farm dog who snores like a lawnmower. We dig him. #pupminsterfuller #blackmouthcur
