“To alcohol: the cause of – and solution to – all of life’s problems.” – Homer Simpson
If you live in a remote area, it’s a good idea to watch your intake of controlled substances, mainly because there’s not much else to watch, and idle hands mean trouble. However, if you’re friends with moderation and enjoy the stress-relieving (vs. the stress-inducing) qualities of alcohol, why not combine your water-of-life intake with a big dose of healing vitamin C?
Of course, this one is good without the alcohol, too. No promises on its detoxification abilities either way.

This cocktail is inspired by juice fasts and the fact that citrus is available year-round in our grocery stores. You can’t always get an avocado or arugula out here, but you can always find a bag of clementines on sale.
Also, if you don’t have a handheld frother, get one now! Even an inexpensive frother like the Zulay is miraculous for single servings of whipped cream, emulsifying dressings (and cocktails), and whipping your egg whites into dreamy foam.
